London, UK May 2026 – At a time when the hospitality sector continues to face skills shortages and nearly one million young people across the UK are not in work, education or training, Dominus Hospitality is expanding its partnership with leading charity Springboard to help create new pathways into long-term careers in the industry.

Marking one year since the partnership began, Dominus and Dominus Hospitality have selected Springboard as its official charity partner as it scales its investment in training, mentoring and employment opportunities across its growing portfolio.

The announcement builds on a year in which Dominus Hospitality operated as a Springboard Showcase Employer, welcoming trainees across its portfolio of hotels in London for site visits, work experience and skills sessions. Over the past 12 months, the team has delivered more than 250 volunteering hours, supported candidates through mock interviews, and directly employed individuals from Springboard programmes into Guest Service Agent and Back of House Assistant roles across its hotels.

Last month, team members from Dominus Hospitality joined Springboard CEO Chris Gamm and the charity’s leadership team at Coopers’ Hall in London to present a cheque of more than £26,000, raised through a range of employee-led initiatives during 2025. The funds will support Springboard’s work helping people develop the skills, confidence and experience needed to build sustainable careers in hospitality.

As part of its long-term commitment to skills and employment, Dominus is progressing plans for new Hospitality Training Academies in Camden and the City of London, expected to open from 2028. Enabled by recent planning approvals at 123 Judd Street and Ibex House, the academies will work closely with Springboard and local authorities to provide structured training and clear routes into employment for local residents and individuals facing barriers to work.

Looking ahead, Dominus and Dominus Hospitality will expand their mentoring, fundraising and training activity across the portfolio, with plans to nearly double volunteering hours in 2026 as the business grows. The partnership will continue to scale alongside new openings, including Dominus’ newest hotel The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton, supporting a long-term strategy to strengthen the hospitality talent pipeline and deliver measurable social impact.

“People are at the heart of everything we do, and this partnership reflects that. Seeing our teams give their time and expertise to support Springboard’s candidates and then welcoming some of those individuals into roles with us, is exactly the kind of impact we want our partnership to have. We share Springboard’s belief that with the right opportunity and support, anyone can build a meaningful long-term career in hospitality.”
Krisztina Nemeth Director of HR, Dominus Hospitality

“We look forward to growing our partnership with Springboard, building on last year’s success. At a time when almost one million young people aren’t in work, education or training, the work that Springboard does has never been more vital. Our plans go beyond raising much-needed funds – working in partnership to deliver new Hospitality Training Academies in Camden and the City of London, creating more pathways into long-term careers in hospitality.”

Jay Ahluwalia Principal Director, Dominus

“Dominus was an outstanding partner to Springboard last year and we look forward to building on this together in 2026 and beyond. By embedding our charity across their business and committing time, energy and funding, they have shown what meaningful, long-term support really looks like. Their people-focused approach is helping to change lives and enables us to support more young people into training, jobs and sustainable careers in hospitality.”
